New Logitech Wireless Headset for Console Gaming

Cranking up the audio is key to immerse yourself into a video game.  This can be a challenge if you play late at night or share a room with another person.  Gaming headsets are your best solution.

Logitech recently announced their new F540 wireless headset designed to work with both the PS3 and Xbox 360.  The headset allows you to hear both game audio plus voice chat and control each individually using two dials located on the left headset.

Expect these headphones to sound very clear for both you and your online friends.  The headset cups feature noise isolation, the microphone features noise cancellation, and the headphone drivers are laser tuned for loud and clear audio.

To make life easier, the F540 headset is wireless and can operate 33 feet away from the base using a 2.4 GHz frequency.  The front panel of the wireless base features a USB port for charging the headphones when not in use.  Behind the wireless base there are analog connectors to connect the PS3 and Xbox 360 audio as well as an auxiliary audio input.  A button marked INPUT on the headset switches between the three inputs.

The Logitech F540 wireless headset is $149.99 and will be available in October.  Pre-orders are being taken on the Logitech website.
