Devil May Cry 5 To Have a Western Touch

After finishing Devil May Cry 4, fans have been waiting for a new game in the Devil May Cry series and rumors have been floating around that a new company would be handling the series. And that company would be Ninja Theory, the team behind Heavenly Sword.

Ken Inafune has confirmed the game is in development. He does inform that they have some big plans for the 5th installment.

“Devil May Cry 5 is a game that, when started development, this will change a lot in relation to the above,” said Inafune. “The reason is that, despite the franchise has some very loyal followers, their sales are not particularly high, especially overseas. For this reason, it is likely that in the fifth chapter will incorporate certain western touch to make it more attractive to American and European players.”

Ken Inafune has also confirmed the existence of Resident Evil 6.

“Given the great success which led to us ‘Resident Evil 5,’ we want ‘Resident Evil 6’ hits the market as soon as possible,” Capcom global head of research and development Keiji Inafune told 3DJuegos (as translated by Google). “In fact, Capcom will have news about this soon.”
