Requiem for a Wolverine: Directors Being Narrowed DownPosted 10:18 am on Tuesday, August 31st, 2010 by John 'Spartan' Nguyen
Before, it was Robert Schwentke (Flight Plan) and David Slade (Twilight: Eclipse) that was competing for the director’s chair for the Wolverine sequel. Robert has opted out and now we add a new director aiming his claws at the movie, Darren Aronofsky (The Wrestler, the Fountain, Requiem for a Dream), according to Deadline. So who’s it going to be, David Slade or Darren Aronofsky?
Deadline believes David Slade will be the one since he’s shown that he’s capable of big budget movies with Twilight. But then again, the Twilight saga I believe wouldn’t be something to be excited about if you’re a hardcore comic fan. Hugh Jackman is the producer, and Darren and Hugh have worked on The Fountain in the past, so things can lean towards him.
