Joseph Gordon-Levitt Loves Street Fighter 2! Disses Mortal Kombat & Tekken
Posted 10:29 am on Friday, July 30th, 2010 by John SpartanYou heard right folks! Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Cobra Commander and the guy that did that cool gravity fight scene in Inception) loves him some Street Fighter 2 action. Skip to the 2:00 mark and he tells Jimmy Fallon about getting a Street Fighter II arcade cabinet as a kid who just got his first huge paycheck. JGL geeks it up and talks about how Street Fighter is still the best and is like super chess, while ragging on Mortal Kombat and Tekken, saying that their fighting system is gimmicky.
Gee, if I was a rich kid during that time, I’d buy myself Sega’s Time Traveler. I was such a sucker for Full Motion Video Games back then, especially if it’s a hologram.
Now it’s time for Christopher Nolan to make the Riddler the villain for the next Batman movie and cast Joseph Gordon-Levitt as our favorite man in the question mark tights.
